		<description><![CDATA[Just discovered this blog and am finding it a good way to stay abreast of the Bay Area, where I lived and worked as a transit planning consultant for many years.  Though having led a Caltrain advocacy organisation 20 years ago (Peninsula Rail 2000, ancestor of Bay Rail Alliance) it&#039;s sad to see that electrification is still in the ever-receding near future.
