Well, unfortunately, geographic proximity to Silicon Valley has generally proved to be of little to no benefit when it comes to having technologically advanced transit in the Bay Area. These buses are a fresh change, least.

so glad to hear this concept has made it to the bay! last time i was in la, i took a bus from union station to santa monica, and was flabbergasted by the fact it was not only newer and cleaner than busses in the city, but had a live updated gps locator listing not just the next stop but the next dozen or so cross streets (depending on density)

about time this happens in the higher tech urb of cali!

All I can say is I finally have a reason to be jealous of San Franciscans. I hope the trial period works out and AC Transit takes notice of it.

Do you know if other cities have similar service?
